Chicken noodle soup

Ingredients: 

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 chicken breast (with base)
  • 2 carrots chopped or grated
  • 1 celery chopped
  • 1 large oinion, chopped
  • salt, pepper
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • bay leaf
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or minced garlic
  • 4-6 cups of water
  • 1 stock cube
  • small noodles (1 cup dry)
  • Parsley

Instructions:

  • Heat oil over medium heat.
  • Add chicken and brown on all sides.
  • Remove.
  • all ll the rest except water, stock cube, noodles.
  • Cook until softened
  • PPut chicken bach.
  • Put in enough water to cover by 2 inches.
  • Add crumbled stock cube.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Recude and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Add noodles.
  • Cook for 10 more minutes.
