Spinach salad

Ingredients: 1 tbsp butter 3/4 almond slices toasted 1lb of spinach 1 cup dried cranberries cup toasted sesame seeds 1 tbsp poppey seeds 1/4 cup white sugar 2 tsp minced onion 1/4 tsp paprica 1/4 cup white wine vinegar 1/4 cup cider  vinegar 1/2 cup vegetable oil    

Brocoli salad

Salad: 1 brocoli, chopped 1 red onion, chopped 1 celery stick, chopped 1 apple, chopped 1 cup dried cranberries Dressing: 1 cup mayo 2 tbsp sugar 1/4 cup white vinegar salt&pepper Optional: Add cooked bacon, because bacon makes everything better.

Bean salad

Salad: 1 can chick peas 1 can lentils 1 can yellow beans 1 can green beans 1 can kidney beans 1 onion chopped 1 green pepper chopped Dressing: 1/2 cup oil 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup vinegar  

Coleslaw salad

2 cups shredded cabbage 1 large carrot, grated 1 tbsp minced onion 1 cupo mayonnaise 1/3 cup white vinegar 1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp dry mustard,  celery salt onion powder   If too thick, add milk or cream

Rice salad

Salad: 2 cups of cooked rice  1 cup of chopped celery 1 cup of chopped onion ( 1 small onion) 1/2 cup chopped green pepper. 1 cup of frozen peas, thawed Dressing:  1/2 cup oil 3 tbsp vinegar 1/4 sugar 4 tbsp soya sauce   Served hot or cold.  

Kale salad

Salad: 3 cups of finely chopped kale 1 carrot, grated 1 apple, diced 1/2 small red onion diced 1/4 toasted sesame seeds 1/4 toasted sliced almods Dressing: 2 tbsp olive oil 1 lemon, juiced 1 tbsp maple syrop 1 tsp grainy mustard
